Suri tauladan yang baik memang memiliki dampak besar kepada kepribadian anak pun begitu memiliki efek luar biasa kepada orang tua.
Sebab, mayoritas anak adalah peniru ulung. Ia nya meniru orang terdekatnya dan orang yang sering ia jumpa yaitu orang tua.
Tentu dengan begitu, bisa dipastikan bahwa orang tua memiliki pengaruh yang sangat dominan.
Maka benar sabda nabi “Kedua orang tuanya lah yang menjadikannya Yahudi, Majusi atau Nasrani”.
Rasulullah memerintahkan kita sebagai orang tua untuk menjadi suri tauladan yang baik dalam bersikap dan berperilaku jujur ketika berhubungan dengan anak.
Diriwayatkan oleh imam Ahmad dari Abu Hurairah ra, bahwa Rasulullah bersabda: “Barang siapa yang mengatakan kepada seorang anak kecil, ‘Kemarilah aku beri sesuatu’. Namun dia tidak memberinya, maka itu adalah suatu kedustaan.”
Suatu kedustaan??? Iya. Jangan sekali-kali bersikap sebagai pemberi janji ya.
Mari kita tanamkan sikap kejujuran pada anak-anak. Tak perlu lah memberi janji, karena anak-anak tak butuh janji. Ia butuh action dan tauladan.
Anak-anak akan selalu memerhatikan dan meneladani sikap dan perilaku orang dewasa. Apabila mereka melihat kedua orang tuanya berperilaku jujur, mereka akan tumbuh dalam kejujuran. Demikian seterusnya.
Oleh karenanya, sebuah harapan besar bagi kami untuk menjadi sosok tauladan kepada uda Ibrahim. Semoga kami dan kita sebagai orang tua, dimampukan untuk menjadi suri tauladan bagi anak-anak kelak.
Jadilah orang tua idaman bagi anak-anak kita. Orang tua tauladan. Orang tua kebanggaan. Dan tentunya orang tua idola anak. Barokallahu fiikum
